  • As we were leaving, we encounted a small unofficial group of Kerry demonstrators. I believe they had just come from lunch at the Waffle House (sorry..couldn't resist).
  • Being a strong believer that our political process is a good one and that discussion and debate our healthy - I thought I'd go over and see what was up.
  • There wasn't much debating - they shouted Kerry slogans and the Bush supporters who outnumbered them about 10,000 to 1 shouted Bush slogans.
  • It was mostly young people...with the wiser older folks staying on the fringes.
  • Notice these two have locked arms....like the Bush supporters were going to try to carry them away or something...
  • Couldn't agree more that there will be no stolen election this year - just like in 2000. :)
  • Finally - Jacksonville's finest gathered to put this unregistered demonstration to an end...they were professional and polite..as one would expect.
