Checkpoint Charlie

This is the site of Checkpoint Charlie, the former gateway between East and West. Unfortunately, considering the significance of what once took place here it is an embarrassment to the good people of Berlin. Between the street vendors, tourist shops and poorly dressed German actors pretending to be American soldiers, this was a sad sight to behold.
