  • In this version - I converted this to a duotone. I like this one better than the first.

  • Here's a close in view of the lifeguard station - this one from the beach side.
  • This is the lifeguard station at Jacksonville Beach, FL. See my "digital art" gallery for a different version. The original is in my "Life's a Beach" gallery.
  • A cold winter day at Jax Beach.
  • Same photo - but I introduced some grain to simulate pushing traditional B&W film.
  • The Castillo de San Marco in St. Augustine, FL - it's an old city so I thought my photos should look old too - I played with Sepia and this is the result.
  • Castillo de San Marco in St. Augustine - slightly different composition - these were taken by walking to the other side of the fort and shooting from the sea wall - most views are from the front, so these are a bit different.
  • The North East Tower of the Catillo in St. Augustine - conveted to BW. This fort took 23 years to build and has been protecting the old city of St. Augustine, FL for hundreds of years (since the late 1600s, I believe). It seems to be holding up well although the only attackers these days are hordes of tourists (which btw - we love, since they pay our state income tax for us every year....)
